ManageWatch is pleased to announce a new member has joined our team. Today, Charles Hutchinson is taking over all engineering responsibilities as our Director of Engineering. In addition, he will give us the benefit of his experience and perspective as a member of our executive team.
If you know Charles then you can’t help but know a couple of things about him. First, you probably already know to call him Hutch. Second, he is a motivated, experienced, and capable IT leader with a proven track record of results oriented, customer-centric IT service delivery.
Hutch’s technology career started in the mid-80’s while stationed at Ft. Hood, Texas. He was given a stack of IBM PCs, four boxes of DB2, some network cards, and some cables and ordered to “go figure it out.” Since that initial introduction to computing and technology, IT has become his lifelong passion.
During the 90’s he was a Desktop Support Manager for an east coast insurance company. Then, at Ameritrade, he honed his Service Desk and Network Operations Center (NOC) skills as an Operations Manager and then Sr. Manager where he led the Desktop Support, Asset Management and Imaging and Document Management teams. In 2003 he continued his leadership path at JP Morgan Chase as VP/Field Operations Manager; later rising to the position of VP and Regional IT Director.
With over 20 years in IT, Hutch has led teams of all sizes and types. In addition to supporting customer needs he has designed, installed, and supported a wide range of infrastructure, hardware, and applications from straight-forward networked PCs to cloud based VDI sessions and large, financial web trading platforms. His time spent with enterprise-level IT has given him experience with the most advanced technologies and allowed him to learn from the brilliant and creative people that architect, implement, and maintain them.
Hutch believes that it is the people, not the technology, which drives and enables businesses to succeed. We believe that Hutch is a perfect match for ManageWatch. So please join us in welcoming Hutch to the ManageWatch team.
